Stater Bros. plans to build a new Blue Ribbon Stater Bros. supermarket at the northwest corner of Baseline Road and Day Creek Road in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

This will be the third Stater Bros. supermarket in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The supermarket is scheduled to open later this fall and will be almost double the size of the company’s two existing Rancho Cucamonga supermarkets which are located at 8770 Baseline Road and at 9750 Nineteenth Street.
“Building a new supermarket in Rancho Cucamonga is a homecoming for me personally,” reminisced Jack H. Brown, Stater Bros. Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. “My mother, Rose Brown, was from Rancho Cucamonga and when she married my dad, he was the Captain of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s substation in Rancho Cucamonga. My dad, Jack H. Brown Sr., also founded the first Mexican American baseball team, the Cucamonga Browns,” Brown further stated.
Stater Bros. Markets is the largest privately owned Supermarket Chain in Southern California and the largest private employer in both San Bernardino County and Riverside County.
